Dear Hotel is the new hotel challenge by Sebrango family. It is located in an iconic neoclassical building of Gran Vía in Madrid, close to Plaza España.
The premise for this new project consisted of designing a timeless hotel respecting and integrating the existing original elements in the building, by mixing them with more contemporary and cosmopolitan ones.
The aim was also at using natural colours and noble materials offering elegance and comfort in every space.
Once in the hall of the building, there is an outstanding reception with a large wall made of retro illuminated brass strips offering brightness and calling for visitors’ attention.
The main stairs in the building go up and down its fourteen floors being preserved and unified by corridors in neutral and pleasant tones.
The rooms have been designed to a domestic model aiming at welcoming guests to make them feel like at home with natural light being empowered and oak wooden floors offering warmth. However, a game of light and dark colours in the bathrooms with a more masculine aesthetics is its counterpoint.
On the fourteenth floor, the restaurant with its terrace and the solarium with a cocktail area are the places where to admire Madrid skyline. The idea of garden is highlighted herein with big flowerpots and plant boxes containing varied plants.
The guest can admire the views in Madrid and enjoy warm treatment being reinforced by the communication in the hotel interior designed by Fauna Graphic Studio.
