Trenchs Studio and Juan Avellaneda have jointly conceived Ecléctica’s bedroom and dressing room as a space where living, dressing and contemplation become part of the same ritual. Moving away from the conventional idea of a bedroom, the design unfolds as a spatial sequence that is gradually revealed.

The entrance, located behind the bed—the project’s central element—prevents the space from being perceived in its entirety at first glance. From this point, the room opens symmetrically towards the façade, while an enveloping palette of deep green tones creates an immersive atmosphere that enhances the presence of Avellaneda’s collection.

Along this journey, Unión Suiza, the space’s sponsor, takes on a leading role by presenting its new jewellery collection as an integral part of the project’s narrative. A central display case positioned at the entrance acts as the first focal point, while two additional showcases, placed at the far end between the windows, accompany the opening towards the façade and reinforce the overall symmetry of the composition.

The green-toned, silk-effect carpet extends across the floor and rises onto the dressing room skirting and central unit, creating a continuous material language that blurs the boundaries between architecture and furniture. The dressing area is defined by a series of parallel mirrored screens that reinterpret the traditional wardrobe. Their overlapping reflections amplify the perception of space while initially concealing the collection, which is gradually unveiled as one moves through the room.

Two onyx columns structure the circulation and conceal more vibrant scenes behind them, where backdrops, suits and shoes merge within a single colour palette, creating intensely monochromatic settings. The scheme is completed by a carefully curated selection of furniture and design pieces chosen specifically for the space. Conceived with a theatrical approach, the lighting introduces a play of light and shadow that highlights key elements and guides the visitor through the sequence.

The result is a space where interior design, fashion and jewellery coexist naturally, creating a sensory, precise and carefully choreographed experience.
