Design intent

Trenchs Studio envisions a new restaurant in Seattle (USA) for the Telefèric Barcelona group. A conceptual project that explores new ways of experiencing its gastronomic universe.

The space, designed by Trenchs Studio, offers a dining experience within a warm and relaxed atmosphere, inspired by Mediterranean aesthetics. The project combines different modes of use, integrating the restaurant with social areas and more intimate spaces, creating a diverse and dynamic experience.

The central bar becomes the key element of the project, organizing the space and acting as a welcoming focal point. Around it, the various dining areas are arranged, combining open tables with more secluded corners. The open kitchen and the team’s activity bring energy and reinforce the lively character of the space.

The proposal is based on a palette of natural and honest materials. Ceramic flooring in neutral tones, oak wood used in ceilings and furniture, and stone finishes provide warmth and continuity. Elements such as large-scale lighting fixtures, decorative pieces, and vegetation introduce texture and scale, enhancing the overall sense of comfort.

The lighting, warm and enveloping, accompanies the experience and highlights the materiality of the space, creating different atmospheres throughout the journey.

The result is a restaurant that blends tradition and contemporaneity, where design naturally supports the user experience and reinforces the identity of the brand.
