El nuevo obrador de carne para la familia Corella se ubica en una nave industrial en Sant Cugat, donde se recibe la materia prima, se despieza y se prepara para enviar a sus tiendas.
El reto ha sido dar la máxima transparencia en sus procesos y crear un entorno agradable para sus empleados, añadiendo un plus de diseño, algo inédito en un obrador de carne.
Se decide desplazar la escalera existente a un lado, aliviando la entrada de camiones. Se aumenta el tamaño de las ventanas de la fachada para que los trabajadores tengan más luz natural y se amplía el altillo para el almacén, vestuarios y la cocina de precocinados.
El mismo color rojo corporativa se aplica a las guías del techo que permiten desplazar el producto des de que llegan los camiones a las cámaras frigoríficas con unos grandes números negros grafiados que aportan contundencia, hasta el obrador.
Dos volúmenes que flotan sirven para albergar la oficina y los aseos en el espacio a doble altura. Se forran de un material sintético en color blanco y madera de roble, como las vitrinas de las tiendas y el taco de corte de carne.
